We fell in love with the area when our son was stationed in Charleston with the Navy. We are retired Buckeyes from the Cleveland area and enjoy spending time on Kiawah with it's wonderful nature conservancy and miles of hard packed sand beach - perfect for bike rides and jogging strollers. Our home is kid friendly and comes equipped with a pack n play highchair 3 strollers 4 beach towels a rolling cooler beach umbrellas and many sand toys. There are also three aero beds available for extra sleeping. Sit and relax on the deck and listen to the fish jumping while you enjoy a good book. Gary the Gator makes a guest appearance frequently along with a white heron who drops in for a snack. It is a short 7-8 minute walk to the beach as the access path is right beside the house next door. Charleston and all its history shopping and fabulous restaurants is just a 35 minute drive away. Fresh Field Village and Bohicket Marina offer boutique shops and good restaurants as well.
