Located in the historic Casco Viejo neighborhood of San Felipe, Panama, Casa Sucre Boutique Hotel is a new venture of Rich and Alyce Sherman. Early in his professional career and while living on the Central Coast of California, Rich was a manager of a natural foods store. After achieving his Masters Degree in Counseling, Rich became active in the social service field. During this same period, Alyce taught dance and drama to children and adults while pursuing a career as a jazz vocalist. With a shift in family and career responsibilities, the past 25 years for the Shermans have been dedicated to professional achievements in education and social services. Both having achieved Doctorate degrees. The combined professional and personal experiences of Rich and Alyce present an excellent joining of abilities, interests and a passion for people toward the successful operation of a Boutique Hotel.

Nice place in the middle of Casco Viejo. One of the few reconstructed houses
on the small but very noisy square. It's called bed and Breakfast but there is no
breakfast served. In fact Casa Sucre is still under renovation. They are building
a cafe, repainting walls doors, etc. Rooms are very clean, but beds are too
small for 2. They are waiting for new furniture to arrive soon. But all this …
