Spent a weekend up near Copake NY and fell in love with the area. Robinson Pond is quiet and secluded and relaxing but also allows for kayaking, canoing, fishing and all lake activities. Copake Lake is a short drive away and allows for all the noisy and busy activities like jetskis, tubing and motor boats. Tanglewood is 1/2 hour away, theatre and the arts are also close by, fine restaurants are a short driving distance. 2 hours from NYC makes it the perfect spot for a quick getaway.
