Our family was raised on Long Island but when the summer came we headed for the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains. It was a great change from the city for us boys. We could fish, swim, and explore from early morning till night. And at night we usually had a campfire. It was always a great family vacation.
Adirondack and Beaver Pond in particular offers 340 acres of private land shared by only eight lodges. In addition our home is on the lake next to the private dock and picnic pavilion.
