Welcome to our home away from home – kick off your shoes and relax!

We hope you fall in love with Koh Samui in the same way we did. We first visited the island when we were backpacking around, got married here and recently brought our young son for his first visit to the island. We love that there is so much to do on Koh Samui – whether you are a beach lover, golfer, yoga enthusiast or if you just want to enjoy some spectacular views and food – it’s all here.

It was during our son’s first trip to the island that we found The Calvie. We are an Australian/Canadian couple and wanted to find a place to bring our family each year on holidays and we fell in love with the views and architecture of The Calvie. The Calvie is set up to cater to families, couples, and basically anyone wanting to stay somewhere that is modern and stylish but relaxing and welcoming.

Our friends and family have also fallen in love with Koh Samui over the years and have often asked us for suggestions on where to go when they visit – it’s better to find out the best places to go so you don’t have to waste any time on your holiday. We developed the “Live Like a Local Guide” with all our favorite beach bars, small local restaurants, places to take the kids, golf courses, spas, etc. We hope it helps you find everything you need on the island.
