We purchased this villa in 2002 and Casa de las Gaviotas was our family home for 5 years. We lived in Almunecar with our four children and fell in love with the town and its people. We moved back to the UK when our children needed to move onto higher education and now live near London but make regular trips back to our Spanish home.

Why Nick and Julie Pike chose Casa de las Gaviotas

As soon as we arrived to view this villa we fell in love with it and set our hearts on making it our new home in Spain. The space and the views just took our breath away. Our children spent some of their happiest years growing up here and we enjoyed many memorable times sharing our home with family and friends. The town of Almunecar is a town with a genuine Spanish heart. Those who take the time to really explore the old cobbled streets and hidden squares will find a real gem.

What makes this villa unique

We really believe that there is nowhere quite like Casa de las Gaviotas ! The location is stunning and our photos cannot do it justice. You are surrounded by amazing views of mountains and sea and the sun shines down on you all day long from the moment it rises until it sets. Everyday life with all its stresses and strains just fade away as you walk out onto the terrace and gaze into the distance.
