I fell in love with Nusa Lembongan when I worked with a number of Disabled Peoples' Organisation in Bali in 2007/8. Beautiful as Bali is, Lembongan provided a different type of laid back lifestyle that was both relaxing and energising. And, as a diver, the amazing marine life and corals provided an ever changing playground that I never get tired of exploring. I bought a plot of land just before I left Bali and spent the next few years building the villa. It was finished and the necessary ceremonies performed in March this year. When I stay in Lembongan I have a small villa next to Villa Nusa and am known to everyoneone on the island as Ibu Maya. WHen I am back in Lembongan I still work with a group of people with disabilities, and the diving community in Bali, and we are just launching a new business, making products from discarded wetsuits, run by people with disabilities to help people with disbilities!
