I have restored this farmhouse and love to offer guests the opportunity to share in this beautiful spot - 'far from the madding crowd!' and the cherished country life. Located in the 'wine trail' and on the civil war battlefield of Jacks Shop the farm has majestic mountain views and sunsets. Just minutes from Madison's 'Montpelier', hiking in the Shenandoah National Park, Fox Hunting with Keswick and Bull Run, the music festival at Graves Mountain, the superb university town of Charlottesville and all the great dining. Riding is available at the farm as well as many other activities which can be arranged for guests. The house is big but cozy, 2 living rooms, screened porch, terrace, hot tub, 4 bedrooms (2 queen, 1 double, 1 twin). Please note the price of $125 is midweek, one queen bedroom. Pls contact me for the price at weekends (include the number of people and animals!) The base weekend price for the farmhouse is $400 at this time of year.
