Why we chose Pigeon Forge:
We came to the Great Smoky Mountains in 1977 for our honeymoon and fell in love with the area. Most of our family vacations were spent in the area. We always talked and dreamed of owning a log cabin, one day that dream became a reality.

The Great Smokey Mountains National Park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, is a peaceful place to visit. Looking through the eyes of nature the enjoyment and serenity of the forest is like a journey through space before entering the sacred gates of heaven. Blue hazy smoke drifts lazily over the mountain tops like a blanket protecting a sleepy town. Towards the east, slowly peeking over the horizon, the rising sun views the waking park and unfolds like a majestic answer to an artists dream. Vividly rushing creeks meander along winding mountain roads to form roaring waterfalls that seem to perish like the ends of the earth. Strolling through lush green forest, sweet chirping sounds float like a choir of angels singing. This is proof that there is an almighty God and he does give you the desires of your heart. This was a paper I wrote in college in 1991, before we ever thought it was possible to achieve our dream of owning property and a cabin. Pam & Ted
