We have been enjoying visits to Edisto for over 30 years and owned Chaika for 20 years. With our work for a religious nonprofit, we travel a lot internationally and love learning about other cultures and finding ways to connect people. We lived in Kazakhstan for 10 years, thus naming our house "Chaika", which means Seagull and was the name of a hotel in our city.
