Karsten and I have been married for almost 40 years, we traveled the first ten years of our married life and have toured Europe, Canada, Mexico and the 48 continental United States. We love traveling, photography, ballroom dancing, kayaking, fishing, learning languages, etc etc etc...we are always interested in broadening our horizon and we love life. We have a very spoiled Amazon parrot, she has been a great companion for the last ten years. When we first became acquainted with the Coos County area, it was back in 1974, we loved it back then. Our work eventually took us to California where we operated a photographic studio for over 20 years. We love the west coast and retired from the photography business five years ago. When we retired, we wanted to find a place as nice as the San Luis Obispo area. We think we found it in the Bandon area. We love the area, the people are great. I hope you will love your stay here and see why so many people visit our town.
