This traditional thatched cottage, recently restored, nests in a quiet countryside location which is ideal for getting away from it all, yet a central base; only 45 minutes to the cities of Belfast and Derry, touring the Glens of Antrim and Donegal. It's only a 5 minute drive to the local town with a hotel, leisure centre, driving range, cinema, churches and shops.
Within the cottage there is a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms which sleeps 7 (2 doubles and 3 singles), 2 en suite bathrooms, central heating, a cosy living room with a turf/wood burning stove, TV/DVD.
Open all year round with ample parking.
Left on Aug 21, 2012 for a stay in August 2012
the foodstuffs for the first night/day were a great surprise, after a day of travelling. The home is very old, but successfully renewed with modern accents, and very clean. Domestic furniture.
The surrounding is very quiet, rustic and typical N-Irisch.
(The only thing we missed, was the dutch special cheese- knife, joke!!)
