The first time I came to Tybee I was an infant in my mother’s arms. (I am 2 in that tiny profile photo) She brought me back again and again. I have always loved this little island. My roots go deeper than a Georgia Pine Tree with this cottage. Over 50 years ago, I was proposed to in this cottage. Our first born child took her first steps here. I brought our 2 children to Tybee every summer until they were out of high school. Oh, what precious memories we have. My children and now their children love Tybee. It is in their blood. This cottage is so special to all of us.
