Welcome to Hale Kimo Ohana meaning House of Jim's Family. Our home has been in our family for generations and we feel it is a magical place that we would like to share with you. Here is a little history of our slice of heaven here on the North Shore of Oahu. Our Grandparents purchased this property in 1947. It was two large lots - with 250 feet of ocean frontage on Sunset Beach, Oahu. The orignal building was a surplus 'Army Billet' from Schofield Barracks that they purchased after World War II. It took 4 days for this building to be hauled completely around the Island because historic Haleiwa Bridge was so narrow. The bridge is still being used today and is a must see! Our grandparents built a cute cottage from this building in 1948. Our family enjoyed this beach house for over 35 years. 'Hale Kimo Ohana' was built in 1981. The 'Wilkinson Ohana' is a close knit family and we are blessed to have our 80 year old parents still enjoying Hale. There are five siblings, spouses, 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild who have had numerous gatherings, engagements, weddings and vacations at 'Hale Kimo Ohana' over the years creating lasting memories!!! As a family we maintain and improve this property constantly, as we love Hale Kimo as our home. Our parents; spent their honeymoon at 'Hale Kimo ' in 1953 - it is very special to them! Our on-site picture albums cover much of Hale Kimo's history. We have enjoyed sharing our beautiful, spacious, and upscale homes with others - particularly families - so they too can enjoy this 'homey' beachfront property with memories they won't forget!!! Steff will be working with you to set up your reservation. She has been managing Hale Kimo for many years and will make your vacation easy and enjoyable. We know, there are many beautiful locations in Hawaii but we believe Hale Kimo's Location On The North Shore is 'The Very Best'!!! Please come and see for yourselves. Aloha Nui Loa Hale Kimo Ohana
