I am originally from England, but left to travel and work in Latin America 25 years ago when I was 24. After travelling and working as a guide and English teacher all over Latin America I decide to move to Lanquin in Guatemala to co-develop a well known Backpackers hostel. During my 10 years developing the hostel I also built La Poza Riverside Guesthouse as my personal home.After leaving the hostel business I now live in Panajachel at Lake Atitlan with my wife and two young daughters, so rent the house in Lanquin for tourists. We also have another house in Panajachel, near the Lake that we rent for visitors to Panajachel.
