The Cottage has been in our family for two generations. The Cottage was originally built to shelter the duck hunters and fishermen who were attracted here, but the land was purchased in 1950 by our parents and was used as a residence while they built their dream home next door. The Cottage has been our guesthouse since then and we have just made it available as a vacation rental. The charm as a family retreat has been retained through the complete refurbishing received in 2009. It is quiet, cozy and very romantic, or as someone recently reminded us, it is perfect for a mother and daughter or girlfriend retreat too.
