We are retired teachers from upstate NY, still working part-time. We found out about St. Simons Island by chance and fell in love with the village, beach, and people. Being used to living surrounded by the beauty of rural upstate, we did not think any other place could compare. We were wrong. St. Simons gives us the same comfortable feeling inside that we hope you get the chance to experience too.

This is a very pet-friendly island. The beach is a great place for dogs and you will find many water bowls provided by local establishments in the village. You can also bring your dog to dine with you at any restaurant with outside seating. It is in this light that we have made our home pet friendly too.
