Call it kismet, or call it lucky – Lucky Savannah began with one of those unbelievable stories that ended with an interesting turn-of-events. Like most secrets in a small town – secrets don’t stay secret for long!

Born and raised in Savannah, Corey and Emily Jones met at the University of Georgia and were married after graduation. With deep roots in the Savannah community, the pair purchased their first home downtown in Savannah’s Historic District and soon after started their family. Five years past and the couple decided it was time for a larger home as their family was quickly expanding. Not wanting to give up such a prime piece of real estate in downtown Savannah, the couple instead decided they would rent the house and hold on to the property.

One Sunday morning, Corey was reading the New York Times and saw a photo of the master bedroom of their downtown home staring back at him. Stunned, Corey continued reading only to learn the travel writer was recommending this great vacation rental in Savannah he stayed at while visiting – which coincidentally was the Jones’ old home!

Corey and Emily were completely unaware that their long-term tenant was using the property to rent the rooms to Savannah’s visitors. What a novel idea!

With that, Lucky Savannah was created and now includes a diverse range of vacation homes available for discerning travelers looking for authentic Southern hospitality. Each home is steps away from tree-filled squares, museums, historic architecture, boutique shopping, award-winning restaurants featuring Southern and International cuisine, nightlife and entertainment and much, much more.
