We are a family of 4 who have been coming to Acadia every year since 1989. Jim came to visit Acadia National Park as part of a Field Biology class for college and fell in love with Acadia. When Robyn graduated from college, he wanted to take her somewhere special, and so we went to Acadia. We fell in love with the beautiful mountains and pink granite cliffs that overlook oceans, the lakes and the woods, and just enjoying nature. We loved the lighthouse and the natural seawall that are nearby. We also enjoyed the laid-back, slower lifestyle of the Down-easter’s. We loved Acadia so much, that we purchased a piece of land with the hopes of retiring in Acadia some day. We were fortunate enough to be able to build a home on that land in 2006 and share with you the piece of heaven we found in Acadia. Our family loves to vacation here each year, and we know that once you visit, you will love Acadia, too!
