We have owned and rented our displayed unit since 1999. \\Most important to note, unlike the majority of properties you see for rent, our Condo to us is not just an income generating rental property, it is our second home where we look to spend quality time. Sally is a chartered accountant =CPA , so our honesty and professionalism may be relied on. We also manage a wider portfolio of investment rental properties in various locations so have a broad experience of property management.
We are licensed with both Monroe County and Florida State with the appropriate professional standards documentation to undertake vacation rentals.
At November 2016, we are part of a group of short term vacation providing owners, and our HOA are also engaged in process regarding the new ordnance concerning Monroe County's new 'Vacation Rental License'. At 22nd November 2016, following initial special notices in the community which have been adjourned until March 23rd, Our HOA and the County's legal team are moving to negotiate renewal of our community's exemptive status for short-term rentals of less than 28 days as we are within a gated community. This is 'work in progress' although you are assured that we are working to as far as we can see, to all the other statutes within our region including Tax,(State & BedTax(collect and remit)Safety & Fire Regulations and Management practices.
