I have over 12 years of work experience in Tourism industry (I study Business Administration in a Costa Rica public college and I have a degree in Marketing), I started as a front desk clerk and ended up as an operations manager in Hotels in La Fortuna area. I can guarantee that I know Arenal area pretty well and my country; I loved to help people in their vacations to make wonderful memories.
I am used to be your advisor in everything that you plan to do in La Fortuna, actually I have several homes, cabins and apartments for rent in the area, I got in this business by accident; once a friend call me asking for help to manage their sites for his home; I did not knew anything about it but I had worked with Expedia, Trip Advisor, Hostelworld and Booking sites for Hotels so I thought it should be the same, I start to study and realize that is similar but you get more "Social" is more like a friend environment so that is what I love about it, not like a Hotel where everything is strict and square most of the times. I start with one house them people began asking me to help other properties with different characteristics and finally I decide to be like a Marketing and Sales Advisor to the owners, I work next to them in order to manage and promote the house to the whole world (Internet make it easy); booking our properties you will get in touch not just with me also with the owners that would like to say hello and get to know you, I make them be part of their business; we say the is a relation WIN to WIN for the OWNER, OUR GUEST and ME!
One of the things that encourage every day is make things better, always try to be very positive about life & work; I like to spend quality time with my wife and kids and I am very passionate about soccer and NFL.
Things that I like to do; get in touch with every new thing that show up in the Internet, learn new tactics to improve my business, I do not have a favorite meal because I eat almost everything, I have tried different dishes from all over the world (Because of my job in Hotels) and so far so good in these matter. Movies, all the Marvel heroes, traveling around my country, about the music I have stay in the 80’s & 90’s and my goal is getting my own company.
As a Host; I know what to do following three key words: Budget, Quality & Guarantee; is just combined those 3 words and you will have an amazing adventure in Arenal. I have experience working with family groups, company’s trips, weddings and friend’s vacation, organize special activities. I guess that a phrase that can describe me is PURA VIDA, because is what describe us as a country in just 2 words.

Much of my experience I gained in the hospitality industry; but also I had the opportunity to work as a tour guide, counter tours, and marketing and sales.
For a long time I have focused on customer service, because I believe that good service always makes the difference.
In recent years, I became interested for work in marketing and sales, mainly for digital media and for this reason I did a technician in Marketing.
