Hey, I'm Virginia. I'm a former City Mouse that has been living on Sylamore Creek for last 9 years. This creek is my touchstone. I'm a river rat - or otter as the case may be; when not working am mostly on the buffalo river or the springs and creeks in this county 3 seasons out of the year.

The greatest guests I could ever imagine have walked through these doors.

I think I have visited over 30 countries and have always enjoyed staying in private homes - as long as I can remember.. When I return from trips now, I have a sense that I am still on vacation. This is such an extra-ordinary place with so many talented people and so much natural beauty. This place still has a feel that it is off the map.

I treasure witnessing the stress drip away from people just arrived from the rat race.

I recently left corporate life and am focusing solely on vacation rentals now because I love sharing this area with others more than anything.
