NZTarawera purchased this House in 2020
Why NZTarawera chose Lake Tarawera
12 years ago after enjoying a few days with family in bustling Mt Maunganui Nicole
and I looked for somewhere to follow on …. a quiet, serene destination to escape to
at holiday time. An internet search led us to the Fidgety Fantail and Cheeky Tui at Lake Tarawera.
From there the rest is history. After 12 years of booking the housesl and many
lake friends later, much to the excitement of Sam our son we feel very fortunate to
have been given the opportunity to purchase the property from Martin & Caroline
and their family.
What makes this House unique
With easy access this family friendly, pet friendly bach has multiple living spaces,
stunning native NZ birds; wild life in the garden, precious trout spawning streams
nearby, and offers a large reserve and kids playground next door. It has close
proximity to Otumutu lagoon for swimming / boat launching and offers shelter from
the lake breeze in the evening.
