Your hosts at Fairydean Mill are David and Mandi; they first spotted Fairydean Mill, a derelict and long abandoned building, some seven years ago. The property was for sale with four days left before closure and in a moment of what they came to know was 'madness' they put in an offer.

Fate took a hand and much to their surprise they found themselves owners of a crumbling listed old mill building with permission to build a studio/workshop from where they could continue to make Wedding Cakes and build a family home.

Many months (indeed years) of angst followed, including being abandoned by two building firms who wet out of business, together with just about ever other possible set back.

Now, after much hard work and heart ache the property has finally been finished to a beautiful standard and offers affordable luxurious accommodation and comfort in an idylic setting.

Freshly prepared breakfasts are included and there will be freshly made fruit salads, freshly baked breads along with fully cooked breakfast options prepared just as you wish.

We are renowned for exquisite Wedding Cakes and like to offer all our guests Complementary tea/coffee and freshly baked cakes on arrival, but please do book this with us to make sure you don't miss out!
