I am a retired former college instructor and mental health crisis worker/community mediator. I am also a world traveller, former military spouse and Department of Defense employee, loving bed and breakfast venues. I am inkeeper along with my long-term partner, Louie Flores, who is an independent mortgage broker. We have owned the 1899 House for eleven years, and have been restoring her to her former glory (she was once converted to five small apartments!)little by little. We do the majority of the work ourselves, start to finish, so there is a great deal of "sweat equity" here, and it is truly a labor of love. Having travelled widely ourselves, we appreciate the personal touch in business, and look forward to offering each guest a sophisticated, yet homey experience away from their own homes!

Left on Apr 14, 2013 for a stay in April 2013
We live in Spokane and just spent a relaxing overnight stay in a lovely room in this historic house with gracious hosts. A great staycation, and a great way to celebrate my wife's Birthday.
