We are long-time Colorado residents who always wanted a home in the mountains. Cary used to ski at Crested Butte when he was in high school and when we got married we honeymooned there and fell in love with the quaint town, the friendly laid-back atmosphere, and the incredible outdoor activities.

We wanted something for family and friends. It's our future retirement home where we want our children to bring their families and everyone be able to stay in one place with everything fun to do right outside the door! The kids have the freedom to take the bus to go skiing, or go to the summer activity center to bike, zip line, etc. and we feel safe.

The house has a neat history with the original owner building it to house visitors from Europe, a feature article about it in the Denver Post, and simply unique construction and design. The views are amazing: from every window you see mountains and wilderness. It's unlike anything else on the mountain.
