My husband and live in NY, but have been coming to Amsterdam for the past 12 years. We started exchanging places with a friend who loved coming to NY, as much as we loved going to Amsterdam. After a while we bought a place.We love the city, and now have two apartments in Amsterdam.

When we are in NY we have friends who take care of the apartment, they actually renovated both of our places, and so they know the apartments well, should there be a problem. They will meet you with the keys, etc., and answer any questions that you might have.
