We are an Italian-American couple who moved to Umbria to live a simple rural life and pursue our passion of wine making in this wonderful country. Since two years we are in charge of this beautiful rental property, owned by our cousin, the Count Conestabile della Staffa who also grows grapes, olives and the prized Chianina beef in the adjacent working farm, as well as horses.
Our goal is to provide our guests with a beautiful and relaxing place and to share our passion for the country, it's traditions, art, history, products and way of life as well to live this corner of the world better than it was as it was handed to us.
We stress respect for nature and the environment, and try to reduce waste and save energy. For example we change linens every three days unless necessary, use energy saving appliances and produce our own electricity.
