My wife and I purchased this property in 2006. With five mango trees, three cashew trees, oranges, grapefruit and avocados, my Panamanian neighbor calls it a “finca”. Casa Pintada is a labor of love and a work in progress. Be it new landscaping or renovating buildings on the property, each year we add more. As of 2011, we have been living here on a more permanent basis which has allowed us to spend more time making improvements.
Originally from New York, Irene and I have spent the last 20 years in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We first visited Panama in 2003 and fell in love with it. We have both worked in four and five-star hotels and resorts for the last 25 years and truly enjoy providing first-class service to our guests.
