Kanina Guest House is developed & run by Cor & Julia, a Dutch-Bulgarian couple, who happily settled down in Bulgaria after living abroad for many years.

Cor has been working as an expatriate and lives abroad since the end of 1983..
His job took him to places like South America, several places in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. Together with Julia they lived in Ukraine, South Africa & Afghanistan – all places with a certain level of hardship, that require a broader view on life in order to survive positively.

Julia is a yoga-teacher who is running a yoga-studio in Sofia together with a friend. She regularly travels to India, which she considers a second home. Upon a request and if personal agenda allows, guests of the house may enjoy some yoga-classes during their stay in Kovachevitza.

Both Cor & Julia love having friends over and maybe that was one of the reasons for Kanina Guest House to be developed, as a place to welcome people of different cultures and interests, who love nature and appreciate “off the beaten track” places.
Kovachevitza is one such place for them and they treasure each moment spent in its mystique environment.

Depending on t he occupancy, the hosts will have friends helping out with the guesthouse management – which are all to ensure your good time spent in the best possible way.
