Owner/Hosts Al and Cindy P. are self confessed "aquaholics" who migrated to Bay Of Islands, New Zealand in search of calm seas, warm water and sublime growing conditions. Since retiring from landscape design and construction, Al spends his days paddling, fishing, surfing and nurturing his sub-tropicals in his fastidiously maintained garden which he enjoys sharing with his guests. Cindy, a former estate agent and resort manager, is experiencing second childhood as well, having taken up surfing in her mid 50's and now accredited to teach stand up paddling. Whatever inspires the traveller, be it cooking, photography, yoga or watersport, they can complete the vision. They love welcoming foreign visitors to their piece of paradise and do everything in their power to ensure they experience the"trip of a lifetime!" Kia Kaha
