Our family commutes frequently between Hilo and Honolulu. I work at the University of Hawaii and my husband prints the local newspaper. We have two teenagers gearing up for graduation from high school and look forward to their college years. When we aren't working we enjoy body surfing, hula, hiking, roller derby, and getting together with friends and family. We love our Leilani street plantation houses for their charm and proximity to all that Hilo has to offer.
