Mas le Clos du Prieur is situated right in the heart of Provence, close to Saint Rémy, at the foot of the Alpilles Hills. Mas le Clos du Prieur is set in two acres of enclosed garden filled with scented Mediterranean plants and shady, century-old, sycamore-trees. It is surrounded by lush countryside with a paddock where bulls and horses graze. Tasteful and authentically restored this ravishing and romantic 200 year old house offers peace, joy of living and relaxation in an inviting atmosphere and a magical provencal setting. The Mas le Clos du Prieur will seduce you by the harmony between the preserved architecture of the building itself and the comfort and beauty of the inside. The apartments offer an opportunity to savour the art of living "á la provencal". The romantic park with the swimming pool and it´s flowered intimate south facing courtyard and the individual terraces in front of each apartment will delight all those who love authenticity and tranquillity surrounded by the delightful songs of crickets.

offers five generous, individually shaped apartments. All apartments are equipped with kitchen, incl. refrigerator, gas stove, sink etc, dishwasher in apartment Provencal and have a spacious bathroom with shower. Apartment Provencal offers a big fireplace about 200 years old. All apartments provide, Aircondition, english satellite-TV (Astra), Internet access ( WLAN ) and a direct access to the garden of the house. Garden furniture and a BBQ are at your disposal. Each apartment has a private terrace. In colder seasons, a central gas heating system provides cosy residential-comfort.
You sleep in Queen size double beds, according to apartment on a gallery or in separate bedrooms. Extra beds, cots and high chairs for children are available. The parking place is on the property and is secured with a remote controlled gate.

Mas le Clos du Prieur ist ein liebevoll restauriertes, etwa 200 Jahre altes Farmhaus und liegt im Herzen der Provençe, nahe dem kleinen Städtchen St. Rémy. Das Haus wird von meiner Familie ganzjährig bewohnt. Somit ist immer jemand persönlich für zusätzliche Informationen und eventuell auftretende Probleme ansprechbar. Die absolut zentrale Lage in der Provence erlaubt es, ohne große Anfahrtswege die meisten Gebiete, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Festivals in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Les Baux, St.Rémy, Arles, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Nîmes, die Camargue und die vielen kleinen hübschen Bergdörfer des Luberon...

Gelegen am Fuße der Alpilles, umgeben von altem Baumbestand, der seit Jahrzehnten dem Mistral trotzt, bietet das Anwesen Entspannung und Erholung, insbesondere durch das absolut ruhige Umfeld. Die Seele des weitläufigen Gartens bildet eine über 200 Jahre alte Platane. Je nach Jahreszeit können Sie die unbehandelten Früchte aus dem 6000 m2 großen Garten genießen ( Süßkirschen, Äpfel, Feigen, Pfirsische etc ). Die gesamte Sommersaison über gibt es immer frischen Rosmarin, Lorbeer, Pfefferminze, Thymian etc.

Ob Sie nun im Schatten der Bäume frühstücken, im Liegestuhl am Schwimmbad oder auf dem Rest des weitläufigen Gartens die Sonne genießen oder am Abend in geselliger Runde am Barbeque den Tag beenden - die Leichtigkeit und die Idylle dieses Ortes können zum Müßiggang verleiten.

Mas le Clos du Prieur bietet 5 großzügige, individuell gestaltete Apartments. Die Apartments haben eine gut ausgestattete Küche (Kühlschrank, Gasherd, Wasserkocher bzw Kaffeemaschine, Spülmaschine im Apartment Provencal, etc.) und haben ein geräumiges Duschbad. Die Appartments sind hell, freundlich und in einem provenzalisch gemütlichen Stil eingerichtet. Apartment Provencal bietet Ihnen einen großen, offenen 200 Jahre alten Kamin. Alle Apartments verfügen über Klimaanlagen, 62 cm Satelliten-Digital-TV (Astra) und Internetanschluss ( WLAN ) und haben einen direkten Zugang zum weitläufigen Garten des Hauses. Dieser steht unseren Gästen uneingeschränkt mit verschiedenen Sitz-, Liegegelegenheiten und Sonnenschirmen sowie einem BBQ zur Verfügung. Jedes Apartment verfügt über eine eigene Terasse auf der Südseite mit einer gemütlichen Sitzgruppe. In den kälteren Jahreszeiten sorgt eine Gaszentralheizung für behaglichen Wohnkomfort. Sie schlafen auf hochwertigen Matratzen ( `King-Size´-Betten2*2m die bei Bedarf auch in 2 Einzelbetten getrennt werden können ), je nach Apartment auf einer Galerie oder in getrennten Schlafzimmern. Auf Wunsch können Zusatzbetten, Kinderbetten und Kinderstühle bereitgestellt werden. Der Parkplatz befindet sich auf dem Grundstück und ist durch ein elektrisch gesteuertes Tor gesichert.
