Since I started hosting in 2006, I have loved having guests from all over the world: Germany, England, France, Iceland, Australia, Holland, Canada, and on and on. So many fabulous people have stayed here, and told me all about their homelands and their lives there.
I love the outdoors, especially walking and hiking, cross-country skiing and snow shoeing. I also like cooking, reading and gardening. I have worked hard on my gardens, and now have 12 garden beds!!!
I am a writer and editor. I work at home, so am usually here to help you if you need it. But the cottage is very private, as it is in my back yard, a distance from the house.
I know a lot more about the outdoors here than about restaurants, because I don't often eat out. But there are some standout restaurants in both Gloucester and Rockport that never disappoint.
I am pretty knowledgeable about the area in general, and can help you plan and find things to do.
I love dogs and babies! Bring them here!
