I am American and half Danish, but have been living in France for nearly 30 years now, and love the Burgundy region. I would be happy to give you tips on what to visit in our beautiful region and hope to make you feel at home in my guest house. I also do evening meals for those of you who are tired of driving and want to relax after the meal: all home-made dishes wish specialties from the region, and local wines, too.
In the summer we occasionally organise concerts on the terrace. There is also horse-riding in the village and swimming at a nearby pool or in two beautiful lakes. If you like, Why not take the train right into Dijon from Thenissey for a day of sight-seeing or shopping? We have the advantage of being located in a peaceful countryside, but also very near to the city of Dijon and the medieval towns of Semur-en-Auxois and Montbard. I hope to meet you in the near future.
