I have lived in Italy for 50 years, have experience in tourism for 35, and since 1998 have lived in and run La Torretta Historical home as an upmarket b&b.My dream was that one day tourists in Italy would be able to see the real Italy in smaller less known villages like ours. My husband Roberto who is an architect, project managed the restoration of the building which dates back to the 15th century, conserving the original features when possible and enhancing the property with all modern cons. and some of his original design furniture.We enjoy taking care of our guests showing them warm hospitality and sharing our wealth of Knowledge of the area, as well as of the Italian art cities which is our passion. My daughter and I run cooking courses and wine and olive oil tasting tours. All our family have been members of the Slow Food movement since it first started in Italy and we often host slow food events at La Torretta
