About the owner: I am a monumental sculptor and Roni is a structural engineer. The pair of us designed and built this custom home. It all started brainstorming with a pad of paper and some local colored pencils!

Why the Owner Chose Bastimentos:
We stumbled onto Bocas Del Toro, backpacking through central America: puddle jumper style. But once we landed, we didn't leave. The islands are breathtaking. The people are healthy, fun and speak multiple languages fluently; including English, Spanish, Guari Guari, and Local tribal languages too. Bastimentos Island is calm, local, and there are no cars! It is paradise, plain and simple.
