We live between Dublin, Ireland and Windsor, England. Over the past 12 years or so we have travelled quite extensively in central and eastern Europe. In 2010 and 2011 we had vacations in much of former Yugoslavia, and in the course of our travels we stayed as paying guests at this property. We immediately felt very comfortable here, in the property, in Stara Moravica (in Hungarian, Bácskossuthfalva) and Vojvodina generally. We never had any plans to own a holiday property, however when the previous owners (a British couple who lived and worked in Serbia since 2005) told us they felt they had owned it for long enough, we agreed to purchase it and take on a new project ourselves. We became owners in August 2012. We take care to connect socially to the village and contribute to the economy of the village in whichever ways we can, and we will offer guests contacts among local food producers, cooks and artists and encourage you to go and have a look for yourselves.
