I was born and grow up in Vasconi a small hamlet 3km outside Matelica. Once a thriving agricultural community of 60 persons now a group of 3 families and my B & B. I am passionate about my farm. A working farm with I breed pigs for salami and cattle for my restaurant steaks. I have a wineyard and olive grove from which I make Verdicchio di Matelica wine and olive oil. I grow all of the produce eaten in my restaurant. I hold dearly all the traditional habits, culture and cooking practices of years gone bye, and give workshops in these forgotten skills such as bread making, lessons in making Ciauscolo the spreadable salami, in the right season I make olive oil extra vergine olive oil of superb quality from the olives I have picked from my olive trees. and I share as much of this passion with the quests of the B & B.
