Dragon's Lair, 1983. Created by Rick D., Dragon's Lair an interactive film that became the first released game to utilize laser disc technology. Dragon's Lair's achieved an immortality that no other laser disc game was able to match. 1. Today, Dragon's Lair is one of three arcade games preserved at the Smithsonian, standing beside Pac-Man and Pong. 2. Dragon’s Lair was admitted into the Guinness Book of world records in 2006. Dragon’s Lair may be the most ported video game ever created. It has been introduced on more than 70 platforms including: iPhone, iPad, & android phones. Rick D. created Hologram Time Traveler. This coin operated game projected images in space as a hologram that conveyed intangible 3D live-action images mixed with computer-generated backgrounds and effects. It was deemed revolutionary by countless players. Rick created a line of talking robotics fitness machines called Powercise. The machines could talk and communicate in English, German & Japanese and were successful in both Japan and Europe. This year for Dragons Lair’s 30 year anniversary… Dragon’s Lair is being introduced as a new slot machine. Gaming machine will be introduced in casino’s across the USA.
