The cottage is a small manor just next to Château de la Barre. which has been in the family of the d. for more than 610 years. Ten years ago, the main château was opened up to welcome guests, and five years ago, we totally renovated the adjacent cottage as a weekly rental. As we live in our family home all year round, we personally welcome our guests not only to our château, but also to the cottage, and are onsite to answer any questions and provide tips for sightseeing, restaurants, shopping, farmers markets etc. Cottage guests may enjoy the entire 100 acre park of the château and it's beautifully maintained gardens.
