I live in DeFuniak Springs, Fl.which is about 100 miles from the Cape. I have traveled to many beautiful places, however few compare to the beauty of the Cape and Florida's Forgotten Coast.My family and friends in Northwest Florida feel this is a very special place to unwind and enjoy "Old Florida" the way it was before high rises and theme parks. My family has visited St. Joseph Peninsula State Park many times. In January of 2012, I had the good fortune to purchase my beautiful townhome situated in the premier community of Barrier Dunes. It was love at first sight. I knew the time was right for me to purchase my vacation home. I will retire from education in the near future, and plan to spend much of my time at Barrier Dunes with family and friends. My home was in excellent condition when I bought it. However, I have spent many hours adding the little extra touches and conveniences to make this a very special place for me, as well as my guests.
