We have been living on Kauai for 36 years and feel very fortunate to call it home. We have explored just about every beach, most hiking trails and many of the available activities. It would be our pleasure to share our experiences that may help make your stay a more rewarding experience.
We love Kilauea. We have called it home for 32 years. It is located on the beautiful North Shore, yet not so far away from the other parts of the island that it feels restrictive. We love it's small town, rural atmosphere.
Many of our guests have commented that they felt like they were at home, away from home. They especially love the view, which seems to change often with the time of day and weather. It is something we still enjoy after all these years. And of course, we love the North Shore beaches, beaches and more beaches. It's pretty hard to beat.

This was the second visit we had made to Hale O Kuawa in Kilauea. The setting is serene and overlooks the Kilauea Stream valley. Karen's gardens are beautiful. The bedroom is comfy with plenty of closet and bureau space. The living room has a good TV and radio CD player.
