Annie never intended to own a bed and breakfast cottage.
She was driving around looking for a home to buy, and the view from this spot took her breath away, she says. It turned out the cottage was already a successful bed and breakfast.

She’s decided she really enjoys innkeeping. For those who’ve delighted in the Soundview Cottage in years past, Annie is keeping it basically the way it’s always been, catering to guests who cherish their privacy.

Born in Mississippi, raised in Los Angeles, Annie has enjoyed living in the Seattle area, where she brought up three kids. Annie is now the proud grandmother of four boys and one little princess.

Before retiring in 2002, she worked as an environmental educator at the Department of Ecology. Then she became an activist for voter registration, peace, and publicly funded elections.

Annie hopes you can come and share in the beauty and tranquility of Soundview.
