We built Peel Forest Lodge 20 years ago from locally sourced logs and materials. We are both very passionate about our local area and are delighted to be able to share it with people from all over the world.
The native bird song in the podacarp forest surrounding the lodge is some of the best you will experience in New Zealand. We are a family operated business and our three children are involved in the running of the Lodge when not travelling overseas.
We also own and operate Peel Forest Horse Trekking and Peel Forest Safaris which are both situated near the Lodge.
We have travelled extensively throughout New Zealand, rafting rivers, tramping etc.
We have done some travel in different parts of the world but are real kiwis offering a real kiwi experience and want your stay to be special.
