I am a New yorker living in Bahia for the last 10 years.
I am a self taught Architect and Restorer.. Casarao Azul is one of my projects in the area.. Today it is a cafe and sports bar as well as having two apartments. I also run a Posada on my cocoa plantation in the rainforest. Here is where we make our own artisanal chocolate. I am an avid Surfer, as Itacare is one of the best surfing areas in northestern Brasil.. I will be happy to guide my guests to the best surf spots and beautiful places in the region. I speak Portuguese, Spanish and English. I hope to provide a great place to stay where my guests can really enjoy the best of Itacare..
