In December 2010, our dream came true. We purchased our own house in the Auvergne, France.
Many times we drove to France by van and trailer, together with friends and family, to work in the house. We contracted local craftsmen from Saint Priest des Champs, using their expertise to transform the building into a magnificent house.
What have we done so far?

We installed central heating and underfloor heating on the ground floor and in the bathrooms. The electricity has been rewired completely. Restoring all the old fireplaces. We installed new bathrooms and lavatories. The whole building has been insulated. We have fitted a completely new kitchen with all modern appliances, such as an Aga cooker.

Step by step, we have seen the house coming back to life again, back to its former glory. Such a pleasure for everyone who has helped us and enjoyed this uplifting experience. We are so very proud of the "tres magnifique" end result.
