Hi! I’m a Baja Lover and lived in Loreto for almost 20 years, the sun, the desert, the Sea of Cortez are gifts for all of us who have spent time out fishing the sea and hiking the beautiful desert. My first time in Loreto was in the summer of 84. I knew this was the place that I wanted to spend time. In 1991 I bought property thinking of building a house. Then a few years later bought a connecting property and built a motel business. I started from scratch as a builder, manager, greeter, and maintenance person and got to know all the needs and expectations of guests when on vacation. Casa Grande used to be our home in Loreto, a relaxing and quiet place. I moved with my family to Ensenada because my wife and I wanted to be near our parents, hers in Tijuana and my mother in Sacramento, but we will never be away from Baja Sur for a long period of time because our dear friends are there and it’s always good to escape from the city’s rush.
