Hello, my name is Joe, I have been accommodating guests at my Packsaddle Creek Vacation Home since 2009 and now many of my guests return every year.
I love spending time in the outdoors so I located my Packsaddle Creek cabin in the middle of my 160 acre parcel so I could enjoy the privacy, seclusion and views of the wilderness but yet the cabin is only a short ten minute drive to the Village of Valemount.

Back in 1994 I transferred to Valemount BC with my work as a BC Conservation Officer. In 1996 I located and purchased a beautiful 160 acre parcel of land 10 minutes south east of Valemount BC. The property offers outstanding views, Packsaddle creek runs through the property and the property also adjoins the north end of Kinbasket lake which is a large reservoir created by the Mica dam near Revelstoke BC.

On this property I had my dream home built by a local custom log home builder. In 2002 the Valemount BC Conservation Officer Service office was closed and I transferred with my job to another location in the Province.

In 2009 I recognized a need for a vacation home accommodation in the winter months to accommodate primarily sledding groups. This venture was a great success! Eventually the demand grew to accommodate families and work crews that were visiting or working in the Valemount area throughout the year. After a day of Rocky Mountain adventures or hard work my guests really appreciated returning to a peaceful, comfortable and secure home rather than to a cramped hotel room.

I completely furnished the home from top to bottom with eight comfortable queen beds and all the amenities a person needs to feel like they are at home. My Guests always comment in the guest book how relaxing their stays were and how they really enjoyed the comfortable cabin and the views. Many plan adventures in the area but end up just hanging out on the property relaxing in the solitude.
This venture I embarked on eight years ago continues to grow and has given me the wonderful opportunity to share this little piece of heaven with all of my wonderful guests from around the world.

So come and book a stay at Packsaddle Creek Lodge and enjoy the views, a walk down to the lake for some beach combing or base yourself from here to conduct your work or enjoy all the adventures to be had in the Valemount area.
