The proprietors of The Diggers Store Bed and Breakfast are a young couple who have recently moved back to the region. Tina is from New Zealand. Alex grew up on the Diggers Store property. They're both excited about sharing their beautiful space with others- it's history, it's beauty, and all of the exciting and relaxing things visitors can do in the region.
1 BR / 1 BA / Sleeps 5
Left on Sep 28, 2014 for a stay in September 2014
This converted barn certainly is rustic and no doubt representative of 1860's goldfield accommodation standards. However time has moved on.
At $180 a night, it is expensive and provides little comfort. Downstairs is dingy, draughty with no view other than brick walls and a ramshackle barn door. Upstairs, the sleeping quarters, has some charm but again it is totally uninsulated and draughty.
